Amanda Callaghan, P.T., D.P.T., O.C.S.
Amanda graduated from University of Michigan with a Bachelor of Science in Movement Science and earned a Doctor of Physical Therapy at the MGH Institute of Health Professions in Boston. She focuses on treating patients with manual therapy, exercises, and functional retraining. She has a level 1 Functional Dry Needling certification and uses it as an adjunct to therapy to address pain and a quicker return to activity.
A board certified specialist in Orthopedics, she enjoys treating a variety of diagnoses and believes in returning patients past 100% to avoid re-injury and achieve better quality of life. She is invested in the future of physical therapy and is the Center Coordinator of Clinical Education for the Tahoe Forest Physical Therapy clinics.
