Total Joint Classes
With arthritis affecting nearly 40 million Americans, we are dedicated to providing patients with the best joint care possible, from free education joint classes to orthopedic surgeons who use state-of-the-art surgical techniques to ensure excellent results and rapid mobility.
Our total joint classes are provided by Kathy Avis, R.N., O.N.C., B.S.N., our total joint replacement orthopedic care coordinator, and designed for individuals scheduled for surgery as well as anyone who would like to learn more about joint replacement procedures. These free informational sessions are held at Tahoe Forest Center for Health, located at 10710 Donner Pass Road, the first Thursday of the month, 5:00 – 6:30 p.m., and the third Tuesday of the month, 2:00 – 3:30 p.m.
Live online classes are available each Friday, from 9:00 – 10:30 a.m. There must be three participants signed up for the class by 5:00 p.m. on Thursday, the day before the class, otherwise the class will be rescheduled.
